SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION AS ORMEROD MAINTAINS COMFORTABLE LEAD
Alex Ormerod’s Shearer Class outfit remain six whole English points clear of nearest rivals Always Noble (Rickie Reynolds) and Greenbank Flyers (Ken Ades) thanks to Arsenal’s 3-0 home victory over Stoke on Sunday afternoon.
Reynolds and Ades (along with 18 others) did however get 3 points, and stay in contention with 6 Game Weeks to go courtesy of Newcastle’s late win over Huddersfield at Saint James’ Park.
This week’s TFG ‘Pick of the Week’ Award is shared between an unlikely trio of Anu Tayal, Dewa Widya and, drum roll please… Steve Middleton; their Leicester picks returning 3 points after Kasper Schmeichel’s penalty save and Vicente Iborra and Jamie Vardy’s late goals. Top picking!
Looking ahead to Game Week #33 Arsenal may once again be a sure thing for 3 points as they host relegation threatened Southampton at The Emirates. Chelsea too will hope they can beat London rivals West Ham in the other Sunday afternoon game.
If you like things ever so slightly more risqué, then Bournemouth, Leicester or Brighton may be worth a punt, entertaining lower placed teams with home advantage to boot.
Game Week #33 kicks off on Saturday lunchtime when Everton and Liverpool lock horns in the Merseyside derby at 12:30. If you needed reminding, that will also be this week’s Game Week cut off time. When you’re ready to make your pick, head HERE to submit your selection.
Whoever you pick, good luck.
