TITLE RACE BACK ON!
Alex Ormerod’s grip on the title loosened slightly this week as his Shearer Class team dropped points courtesy of Swansea only managing a draw at the Hawthorns.
Despite his nearest rivals going in the to the weekend (Ken Ades and Rickie Reynolds) also picking draws, his lead at the top has been cut to just 5 points by Jeff Coleman’s St Jude’s who also have a game in hand and were one of only 13 teams to get a win in GW#33.
Not many contenders for Pick of the Week therefore, so the prize goes to David Mckellar who, with his Burnley pick, was the only winner who didn’t opt for Arsenal or Spurs.
In Game Week #34 Man United (vs West Brom) and Liverpool (vs Bournemouth) look like your best bet for 3 points with the rest of the top 6 either away from home, playing each other, chronically out of form or a combination of all three.
Elsewhere Burnley might be fancied to beat Leicester at home but it’s hard to make a strong case for an out on out favourite from the remaining fixtures.
Game Week #34 kicks off 12:30 on Saturday lunchtime when Southampton host Chelsea at St Mary’s at 12:30. When you’re ready to make your pick, head HERE to submit your selection.
Whoever you pick, good luck.
