CHERRIES PICK UP POINTS FOR LEADERS
James Jones now tops the TFG table with 5 wins out of 5, even managing to use a Bournemouth pick for a win this week. The only other man also on 5 wins is Chris Brazier, although his past TFG performances suggest this will be as good as it gets for world’s least hairy man.
The ‘Pick of the Week’ award is shared between a John and a Jon this week with John Smith and Jon Dean both picking Southampton to win at Palace. As someone who was in the stands the last time Roy Hodgson sent a team out to win a game of football, I’m not sure why more people didn’t go for The Saints.
Looking to Game Week #6, if you’re after an ‘easy’ win then Man City (at home to Palace) and Arsenal (home to West Brom) look like good bets on paper.
Elsewhere ‘Pick of the Week’ hunters might look for a Huddersfield win at Burnley, or maybe even Watford away at Swansea?
Game Week 6 kicks off at 12.30 on Saturday, with West Ham hosting Tottenham in what is usually a feisty encounter in East London. Given the game isn’t at Wembley, this surely means a nailed on three points for Spurs.
