POINTS A PLENTY IN #GW31!
That is of course, unless you were one of the 12 people that picked Liverpool of course. The Reds were the only blot from our otherwise perfect predictions in Monday’s email with wins for Leicester (27 picks), Hull City (24 picks) Arsenal, Burnley, and Watford. But on the whole you took heed of our advice and were rewarded accordingly; let’s all give ourselves a pat on the back to celebrate.
And speaking of celebrations, Team TFG would like to pass on our love to everyone at Drew HQ after the arrival Big Phil’s new grandson – we hope to see the wee man signed up to play next year!
With such an array of home wins, and no stand out away performance, there is no TFG ‘Pick of the Week’ award for GW31 meaning Roland Marshman can keep smiling for another week at least.
Looking ahead to GW32, and I think it would be fair to say 3 points might be slightly harder to come by this weekend. Man City are the stand out option hosting Hull at the Etihad, whilst Spurs will also be firm favourites as they entertain Watford at White Hart Lane in the early kick off.
Elsewhere Man United will want to put the last week behind them with a win at Sunderland, but after that things become a lot less straightforward with the likes of Everton vs Leicester, Stoke vs Liverpool, ‘Boro vs Burnley West Ham vs Swansea and West Brom vs Southampton all looking like potential banana skins. Watch your step!
The most eager eyed of you will have noticed that you can now sign up to be invited to register for next season’s TFG campaign by simply adding your email address to the box on our homepage. If you’ve enjoyed playing the game this year, and have friends, family or colleagues that you think would be interested – now’s the time to start bending their ear. Remember, setting up a Private League is completely free and a great way to incentivise the game within your own social circle(s).
Remember you need to submit your selection by the time the first fixture of each GameWeek kicks off. This week that’s the Tottenham vs. Watford game, which kicks off at 12:30 on Saturday lunchtime.

That’s our pondering done, whoever you pick, good luck!
