Drew drew – Chasing pack draws close
With Chelsea refusing to slip up and gives us a sniff of a Premier League title race, the fight for the Q-Sphere TFG League crown at least is starting to prove edge of the seat stuff. That’s thanks to long-time leader Phillip Drew dropping points courtesy of Burnley only managing a 0-0 draw on Teeside in GameWeek 32.
Positive results for most of the chasing pack who (like the majority of TFGers) opted for Man City, West Ham and Spurs mean that the gap at the top is down to just 3 points.
Honourable mentions in GW 32 for Pick of the Week seekers Michelle Spalding, James Taylor and Chris Megarity who went for glory with Sunderland and Stoke picks but this week’s prize goes to Billy Symes who backed Palace to pull off a win against the Gunners – well done Billy.
Looking ahead to GW33 those with any Spurs or Everton picks left might see this week as the time to use them with as they line up against Bournemouth and Burnley respectively.
Elsewhere fixtures look hard to call with Palace v Leicester, Stoke v Hull, Watford v Swansea, West Brom v Liverpool and Man United v Chelsea, but if you fancy that Sunderland are down and out you might want to look at West Ham to come away with three points from their long trip North.
Pick of the week fans might fancy a punt on Middlesbrough to heap yet more misery on poor old Arsene at the Riverside on Monday night.
